Haha yeah, sorry, I do type pretty quickly! I think I'm running over 100 mods for Skyrim at the moment, so I'm having a lot of fun with it. I know what you mean about Fallout; I never found it as immersive as Elder Scrolls. Thank you! I know it's not too common to find girls that play games seriously, as opposed to 'girl gamers'. There's a few of us around, haha.

Oh that's cool! You should check out 'Stone The Crow' by a band called Down if you want depressing music. Most of their songs are depressing... But I think they're great.

I'm a really big fan of the Elder Scrolls games, and I've been playing those since Morrowind. I'm still playing Skyrim, with mods, and haven't quite found a series as good as that. The Fallout series came close, but there's something about swords and magic that I love. Probably because Lord of the Rings is my favourite thing ever, haha. I do play other games too though, like Halo, and Half-Life. I'll play anything, because games in general are good fun, I just always seem to go back to Elder Scrolls. How about you?

I recently visually modded my Skyrim to 10 FPS before blue-screening. So yeah sort of on the same path there. I tried Fallout, but I have this issue with the graphics. Like I know I shouldn't care that much because the gameplay is great, but I just can't play it because I constantly think about it.
Fucking awesome though that you like this type of vidya so much, especially as a girl that's breddy gud.
I just dropped salami on my shorts, fuck.

Wardruna! I listen to them too. I love fantasy, so their music is just great. If you like that folk-vibe, you should listen Adrian Von Ziegler on YouTube. He does really great compositions of Viking, Celtic, and general fantasy instrumentals. They're really good. I totally agree about not limiting taste to one genre though. Although I listen mostly to metal, like you say, it will vary what I listen to depending on what I'm doing, or my mood. If I'm playing a PvP game, I'll listen to Pendulum. If I'm sad, I typically listen to sad music; songs by Down, or 'Loser' by Beck is a favourite of mine when I'm sad. When I'm happy, I usually listen to metal, but that's not set in stone. Some days I'd rather listen to punk, or drum and bass.
#272 - ishalltroll (08/14/2014) [-]
Oh wow I actually know Adrian von Ziegler, I listened to this video of his which is like 2 hours of celtic music for ages and actually found Wardruna through that, we must've passed the same video.
I'm gonna note those other songs, I listen to downer music like every night to come down.
What kinda vidya do you pray though?

I remember listening to Skillet when I was younger. It was them, and Three Days Grace, that actually got me listening to metal in the first place! I love Rise Against as well; 'Savior' is one of my favourite songs! Linkin Park had their heavier tracks too, back in the day.

You've got pretty good taste! It's good to have some variety

I could never really get the mindset of limiting oneself to one genre. Like I listen to specific genres or artists when I'm in specific moods or want to put myself into them. I.e. when I'm going to play PvP games I actually took to put on Wardruna, which is norse folk if I'm not mistaken.
But I suppose it's different with each and every person. Do you listen to metal just the same when you're down or sth?

I've been dying my hair crazy colours for a really long time, but my job won't allow it any more so I settled for something that was new to me.

User avatar #262 - ishalltroll (08/14/2014) [-]
I could never really get the mindset of limiting oneself to one genre. Like I listen to specific genres or artists when I'm in specific moods or want to put myself into them. I.e. when I'm going to play PvP games I actually took to put on Wardruna, which is norse folk if I'm not mistaken.
But I suppose it's different with each and every person. Do you listen to metal just the same when you're down or sth?
User avatar #266 - flibstaar (08/14/2014) [-]
User avatar #275 - flibstaar (08/14/2014) [-]

#285 - ishalltroll (08/14/2014) [-]
You're literally the fastest typing person I've ever seen, like holy shit you're pushing these comments out like an industrial printer.

User avatar #315 - ishalltroll (08/14/2014) [-]

Weird as shit. I'm not sure, I feel like we might have when I was walking to down with him or some shit. I think you might know my girlfreind as well, I remember her telling me she was doing a whole scribbling on the desk thing in philosophy, and you two kinda had a battle to change it or soming. Went from 'praise anti-christ' to 'praise fantastic christ' and shit like that.

I dunno girl, I'm certain you'd look better with just normal hair.
Since you're wearing them together with those 2 piercings I'm just gonna assume you're into the electronic music scene. Why not just colorize parts of your hair blue or something to stick with the theme?
User avatar #213 - flibstaar (08/14/2014) [-]
Ah, thank you. I listen to a variety of styles, but mostly metal. I've been dying my hair crazy colours for a really long time, but my job won't allow it any more so I settled for something that was new to me. I've only had them in a few days, but they're pretty good fun. They come out after about 3 months, so I can have 'normal' hair then and see whether I want to put my dreads back in.

User avatar #218 - ishalltroll (08/14/2014) [-]
Ravers and metalheads are so goddamn hard to tell apart nowadays, it's breddy gud of you to not go full-on ultra-bitch about me putting you into the electro-drawer.
What job are you in? And what kind of metal?
User avatar #223 - flibstaar (08/14/2014) [-]
Yeah, I know what you mean! It's ok, I'm not a stereotypical crazy woman, so you don't have to worry about that, haha. I work for a supermarket chain in the UK called Tesco; they're really big here, but if you're not from the UK I don't know whether you'd be familiar with them? I like the whole spectrum of metal really, from 80s thrash like Anthrax, to the technical death metal style of bands like Fleshgod Apocalypse, and I like Celtic metal and stuff too, like Ensiferum and Eluveitie. I'm quite fond recently of the lighter metal/heavy rock, with bands like Seether and SOiL.
#235 - ishalltroll (08/14/2014) [-]
I'm aware of Tesco's, I'm not that far off here in Germany.

you could translate less as geringer, then the joke would kinda fit, but well..... yeah, plays on words do not translate very well

but here, have a small joke you should never tell a german police officer unless you want to spend your night in jail
"why are police officers like chives?
they are both green on the outside, always come in bundles and are hollow on the inside"
