There are 3 endings, there are 2 where Shepard dies, one where he lives, all kinda suck but strangely satisfying. Choose your ending wisely...

One more thing, when you complete the game and start a new one, when you import the data from your ME3 file, you keep all upgrades, armor etc. War Assets will be needed to be gathered again.
