The plan here isn't: Let's go kill the terrorists friends. It's more like: Let's go in and strategically tear down the terrorist groups piece by piece, usually ending with the assassination of their leader. We aren't just going over there and killing their friends, you make it seem like we have some type of redneck militia over there just killin whatever arabs they see. No we have a strategic plan and it is being executed in the best, safest way possible to slow if not end the terrorist plague that has recently become more rampant than ever.

No but the idea is poor because you can't take down a terrorist cell with military action, new ones will always appear and by having our troops over there it makes it easier for them to recruit because then they can play the 'American/britfat invaders card' and get even more people on board.

I agree with the fact that new ones will always appear but we have already successfully taken down cells and we have also set up a democracy and weakened the cells to the point where the non-terrorist arabs, which is actually most of them, have the ability to defend themselves, you make it seem like everyone in the country is on the fence about whether they should join a terrorist cell or not, most of them actually hate the fact that there are so many terrorists there and everyone who wasn't involved in the previous corrupt government wanted it to come to an end, and we did that. We freed them from their corruptness enough so that they can do as they please with their government and have the chance to keep that from happening again.

No I don't think the whole country is 'on the fence' it only takes a couple of people to set off a terror attack (even if it is minor with those numbers) though. I know this because our actions are starting to turn some people in our own countries into terrorists let alone in Afghanistan.

Yeah but not by the ones in Afghanistan, the attackers sneak in and do damage from the inside, killing their friends at home only encourages them.
