Well yeah. But have you swung and axe before? Its heavy. You will lose all strength in no time. If its a little axe, or hatchet sure I'd go with axe, but otherwise the knife.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, Azumanga Daioh, Mitsudomoe, Nichijou, School Rumble, Maria†Holic, Angel Beats, and Excel Saga are all pretty good but on my personal opinion School Days was pretty bad and Deadman's Wonderland was extremely predictable. Anyhow, I like the list and I'll probably grab a few things from it if you don't mind.
