We had to remove one such family from out shelter because the child violently attacked another child multiple times and the mother just told it was a phase.

Unfortunately we had to report it, and she got her children taken away and her child was given the help she needed and is now a well adjusted little girl.

Granted, they haven't released a lot of details, but it seems like there's two possibilities in this case. One, he's insane, and then, hey, what can you do? Two, maybe it was an accident, and he just got fucking scared as shit (cause, you know, murder) and so he lied about it which came back to bite him. Either way, I really don't think we should be charging a 12 year old with murder.
