They did complain. It's not why would they it's they did.

They complained because they didn't like the idea of eating Genetically Modified food, even though a) they could have brought home produce instead, and b) it isn't them who's dying due to lack of sustenance so shouldn't complain.

You are the reason scientists cannot say there was "nothing" before the big bang, because they have a completely different meaning for nothing but theists have been spewing that "Something can't come from nothing!!" since they first heard about it. What they essentially were talking about is based on hypothesis' revolving around quantum fluctuations before the big bang.

Then the big bang occurred, yes that's it. We cannot make assumptions on what happened before because we just don't have enough evidence yet. And anyone claiming that because we haven't found the answer yet must mean god did it, is a delusional fool.

Of course I'm unsure of its origin. Was I there when it was created? No. Was anyone? No.
