Their assholes maybe. I read somewhere it increased the chance of colon cancer. It's not my business though.

Both to its practitioners and to the society that it parasite / the society that "tolerates" it.

To its practitioners:
The negative effects are beyond count. Including low outcomes in nearly every measurable aspect. But for the sake of brevity I'll stick to a couple of examples: homosexuals are about 1% of the population yet account for 78% of AIDS cases. Homosexuals have much higher rates of STDs than heteros (even lesbians BTW), much higher risk of anal cancer, double the divorce and domestic violence rates (three times the divorce rate in the case of lesbians), half the relationship and marriage longevity... inb4 blaming the consequences of one's actions on others.

Homosexuality would still be a psychological disease if "gay rights" lobbyists hadn't bullied and threatened psychiatrists into removing it from the DSM. It wasn't removed due to scientific discovery, but due to violent threats and lobbying.

There are many more negative effects that cannot be done justice in 1000 chars

Stop, just stop. Your post is a failure in the exercise of logic and the ability to check facts. Your statistics are just plain wrong, no one knows how much of the population is gay and all such statistics are by nature self-reported. 1% is one of the lowest measures and 78% I have no idea where you got because it isn't congruent with any major measurement. If you took even a basic stats class you'd understand how much trouble not knowing your population size and the massive statistical bias that will come into play. Beyond that your description of sexual orientation as a social construct is tumblr tier stupid. If it's cultural then why are non-social creatures exhibiting homosexual tendencies? What is the entire second son effect?

Black slaves that tried to escape were said to have the mental disorder drapetomania. No new evidence was given and it was changed by terrible "black rights" lobbyists pressing their violent threats and hate onto the world.

I second.
The Muslim Extremists were in the wrong and didn't care about how the rest of Islam would be viewed after such an incident.
#7 - You can sell the diamond and buy many dogs though.  [+] (11 new replies) 01/07/2015 on Doge +14

Many guys will most likely not sell their dog.

It looked like someone else in section was going to say this then went full retard. Diamonds resell for shit, Their value is only high at initial purchase from a dealer. If you try to resell to a dealer, you will get game stop comparative prices on your diamond. It's because diamonds arent rare and theres tons on the second hand market from people trying to resell. The debeers company in the early 1900s ran tons of advertisements creating a high desire for diamonds, while keeping a monopoly on the supply for a long time to make people pay thousands for clear stones. Now for personal opinion time i think people should just use fake gems in rings. Unless you're a jeweler you usually cannot tell the difference. There is applications for gems in science and technology, thats the only places they should be in demand. i couldnt find the original article i read all this in but googling gives numerous examples i just grabbed a random one

Have you ever actually *owned* a dog?

I promise you that by the time you pay the breeder / shelter, get all their shots, take care of spaying / neutering if need be, pay all their vet bills, pay for any damage they do to your house, and pay for food / toys / treats / leash / harness / tags, etc., you've spent enough to buy a SHIT TON of diamonds.

Totally worth it, but still, far more expensive (and valuable) than a diamond.
User avatar #57 - scytherkris (01/08/2015) [-]
By trading a diamond for many dogs you're basically saying that dogs are better than diamonds
Because you'd rather have dogs than diamonds
User avatar #41 - skaffanl (01/08/2015) [-]
It's a man (well, actually family but at it's head is a man) who makes sure the supply of diamonds is limited as to keep the price up. So it is expensive because of a man. If a woman would've been in charge I doubt a diamond would still have been worth more money than a dog.
#32 - rdobet (01/08/2015) [-]
Diamonds are intrinsically worthless.

You can buy the dog, but you can't buy its' love and friendship
User avatar #11 - weightedtemp (01/08/2015) [-]
That would require you to put the value of many dogs over the value of a diamond, further affirming the point
#63 - anonymous (01/08/2015) [-]
Well animal shelters have re-homing fees. as well as purchasing the tags for the dog, and any vaccinations they may need. which would put a price on dogs, yes.

If the god is real, the same thing just not noted. If not real a fictitious concept with possible aesthetic truths.
