He can do whatever the fuck he wants to do, you don't have to choose bible or science, infalliable's main point is exactly this, the two can coexist.
Honestly, if you choose to wholeheartedly believe in god and remain ignorant of science you will lead a life of bliss, the same can be said for living a life solely based on science.

The bottom line that people need to see is that you can't say your side is the correct side if you have no direct evidence, all this happened before the start of recorded history, for all we know there could have been creatures assembling each specie of animal on earth with their own excrement. the point is that we don't know, we only believe.

I'm...not making them fight at all...I said they don't necessarily contradict each other. that's all. I consider myself Christian and a man of science.

and just to clarify, I do think God came first, but the manner in which he brought about man can not necessarily be confirmed seeing as no one was around.

:45 in and i'm already embarassed. Don't take this guy as the standard to which all christians should be held to. Many of us are open to both religion and Science. I think the Earth being 7000 years old is totally bull. Evolution and Christianity are not completely at arms. Science and Religion don't have to be at war. In many cases they are supportive. Just because of idiots like this kent guy and the girl in the post doesn't mean that we all think science is evil.

True, assuming you take the 7 day creation as a literal story. Fact is, we have NO way of telling of whether God created the world in 7 days as stated in Genesis, OR if the whole one day to God = 1000000 years to us or whatever you would call that was the case. In the latter case, it is entirely probable and not contradictory at all for God to use evolution as the way to create man. However, no real way to say obviously. But basically what I'm getting at is nowhere in the bible does it say "and evolution is bull" but also nowhere in Origin of Species does it say "christianity is bull" both can exist side by side. Whether you want them to is more of a matter of religious opinion at this point. I personally think they can coexist but believe the 7 day story only because it sounds cooler to me, and not for any scientific reason.
