Do squats, not leg press. Trust me on this, Free weights are significantly better than any machine.

Well, it's kinda hard to add mass to your calves, but just doing weighted squats, leg press and other leg workouts should do exactly what they're supposed to do. Also involving upward movement, I.E. stair steps, running up stairs, hiking up hills, etc. helps. Adding weight to these exercises adds a big boost to it as well. However if you're losing mass you are probably not getting enough vitamins/proteins, and should consult a professional.

Lol, yeah when I started high school I was leg pressing 700 lbs (317 kg for britbongs), and by the end of freshman year (year 10 britbongs) I was at 975 lbs (442 kg.)

But squatting, when I actually tried I only hit 250 lbs (113 kg.) Partly because it felt way too awkward and I was always paranoid I was gonna fall over and break my neck or some shit.

i give you props for the britbong translation when you didnt have to. it saves us the google search, so thank you. yu da mvp.

I'm not really an expert but is it making a difference if I'm using something like the thing in the picture? I always called it the leg press but I know there is something else that owns the name. Actually, I have been only going to the gym for like 6 months by now. Maybe you guys can tell me, why I have been loosing muscle weight in my legs. The trainers were also puzzled. I have gained a lot in the upper body but my legs are not giving a fuck.

You should try to squat ATG, you'll notice the difference between leg press and a squat

If you are interested in that, I will try to explain. If you are trolling me to write because you want me to waste my time, then fuck you. Either way I catch the bait and write.

First, the genetic information is written down in DNA consisting of nucleotides. There are four of them, and each is represented by a letter. ATGC. And each of us has a nearly identical sequence of those nucleotides in our genomes. BUT, there is a 0,4 % variability. So we still differ.

As an example, somewhere in my genome I have a sequence AAATGGTCA, and you have a AAATGCTCA. They are different by 1 nucleotide. And this is called an SNP(Single Nucleotide Polymoprhism). And there are like 20 million SNPs in the genome. You inherit your genome from your parents, also your SNPs. Some sequences are exclusive to some groups of people, so only some groups have certain SNPs.

By checking which SNPs you have you can chceck your genetic heritage. You cannot really check your relationship to a banana though because we are too far apart, and banana might not even have a chromosome resepective to your chromosome containing AAATGCTCA.

I hope it was clearer. The ancient egyptians have more similar SNPs to modern white Frenchises than to modern egyptians.
