leal is right
at 6 foot 164 lbs 20% body fat id say you should eat 300-500 above your maintenance calories and hit the gym. Get a decent amount of muscle so when you finally go to 10% BF there is muscle to show.
compound lifts are good.
Bench, squat, deadlift (I might even throw in dips and pullups if I were you on certain days)
Make sure you start light if youre new to lifting and get form perfect.

I remember there was something that fucked up my combos, I think it made specials on button release instead of press or something like that

Kotal Blood God isn't really viable. You will flat out not be able to set up crystal totem with sacrifice, the opponent usually isn't that stupid to let you do that. War God is so much better because it makes his strings safe.

Jason is good

Scorpion is very noob-friendly

Ferra/Torr has a great NJP with the Vicious variation, Lackey is a very good rushdown character. Ruthless has the same problem as Blood God.

Cassie Cage requires a lot of skill to be used effectively, but if you have said skill she's really good.

3 3 3, neutral 4 4, diagonal down-towards 1 1 1. Unblockable grab in Brawler. Super fast projectile. Such skill. Many Selfie. Wow

Kotal Blood god doesn't need both setups, but it's easily doable. Forward 2 2 EX Air Grab gives you enough time to get the Totem up, then forward 4 for the kick lets you get the Blood Sacrifice going. Congratulations, you now have 250% damage for the next 8 seconds

Ruthless Ferra/Torr isn't very good. Not enough combo variability, and the buff doesn't do enough

Scorpions fucking Stand. God damnit Ed Boon I don't care he's your baby he is fucking horseshit and you know it

If someone's never fought a Jason before, Relentless is some funny shit. So's Unbreakable

Dunno, never played Cassie. All I've heard about her is her combos requiring some skill.

Totem gives you a 25% boost on damage for a duration, sacrifice gives you a damage boost for THREE HITS (which is pretty damn awesome still). I'd still much rather have the consistency of War God and his giant sword thing.

Yeah, I agree. Like I said Lackey is a great character for being up close but can't do much against zoners. At least Vicious can throw Ferra (who has projectile immunity) to counteract zoning.

Scorpions are the #1 scrub character in the game, I guarantee you that most new players online play Scorpion and spam db3.

Jason is pretty damn fun, Slasher is probably the easiest version. He's like Kotal with his sort of risky high damage thing he has going for him. Pursuit and his armor ability is really fun to mess with. And he's Jason, so that's another plus.

Play literally anybody else but Takeda. Play Jason if you can because Slasher is God Tier cheese mode. Fuck it play Kotal if you want for his Blood God Bullshit

Takeda is bad since week 3, they fucked him hard in his in-fights. You need to play at mid/far at all times to get good with him. Basically play him like a zone character. And remember:

Lasher is shit
Ronin is fun to lose with
Shirai Ryu makes no sense

Takeda requires a lot of skill. I'd recommend someone else. His specials require you to be at the perfect distance to pull the off and give you no leeway.

You're going to need to play around with calories because it depends on your height, weight, body fat %, and metabolic rate. Start adding 200 calories and wight yourself once a week always at the same time. Aim for around a pound a week of weight gain. If you want to build muscle, you need to add weight back on. It may feel like going backwards but if you only gain 3-4 pounds a month you will not get fat and you can always cut back on calories if you feel like you're gaining fat too fast. Don't rush into anything and do your own research, just don't go hungry skeleton on us

If you don't want to be huge you might want to find a decent bodyweight routine and some basic weight training. Building muscle is not easy for the body and takes time and lots of calories. Since it takes more food to fuel the body, muscle mass makes it easier to lose weight due to increased calorie burn to maintain that mass.

Thats some quick weight loss, a lot of people take twice as long if they can even handle dieting. What are your goals from where you are? I personally lost around 35lbs about 3 years ago and fell for a while because I didn't set anything long term.

Thats some amazing progress, how long did it take you? Your final weight loss will be harder because of dieting for so long and are fairly lean. You might want to consider taking a couple months off and eat to maintain your weight so your body and mind can recover a bit. Keep it up!

thanks for the advice and it took me about 6 months to lose all the weight. I'm currently eating normally with out intense dieting but still managing my calorie intake to about 1800-2000 a day. I use to workout 4 times a week for about 2 hours with a 2 mile run every other day but I've been slacking and have stopped running and only workout about 2-3 times a week
