I'm British and boy i love some milk in my tea. I guess some Americans just don't like the creamy taste.

Depends on the tea, I put milk in black tea other not so much.

Ok, Ihave never had Earl Grey before, but in all the other teas I had, ranging from Morrocan Mint, various fruit flavored teas, sleepytime tea, green tea, China Green tips, Refresh tea, Chamomile, Jasmine Green tea, and so on, I have always drank them without milk because I can't imagine the combination to be too pleasant. It might be different with earl grey, but with the ones I listed above they taste very good being plain. Do you drink a variety of tea, or solely earl grey?

I drink it with milk, only certain teas I drink without milk.

I put half/half on Iced Tea. And that's only because I hardly drink hot tea. But nonetheless, it gives the tea a wonderful, silky texture.

We put cream in our coffee so, now that I think about it yeah that does seam kinda weird.

I put milk in my tea because without it, it just tastes like hot leaf juice to me.

I'm Japanese American, and I find it weird/disgusting when someone puts anything in their tea. I flipped a shit once because one of my friends wanted to put sugar in Green tea.

But I guess milk is normal for other western teas.

I suppose it's preference. I was raised in the UK, but I live in America now. Sometimes I like milk in my tea, but sometimes regular tea because it feels smoother.

I put Coffee Mate in my tea.

Because coffee is a much more popular drink in which you are ridiculed for putting milk in. It kind of translates to tea.

I know that feel, while I may not be English, I'm still mightily Irish, and I always put milk in my tea.

Maybe it's because in America, everyone is used to coffee, especially when the coffee's black.
