I could see where you're coming from, but keep in mind Pokemon is a child's anime and if their protagonists aren't colorful and loud it's gonna lose the kiddies attention. Just because we're vocal about it, us 20 something internet dwellers are a really small minority and we're barely even recognized, much less catered to profit wise. I'm also going to go to the other end and say not all kids are apes entertained by loud noises and bright colors. To make this short, media are assholes.

You can love snake until you're blue in the face,so does everyone else, Raiden is a badass who made it through adversity and into fans hearts and was stylish as shit doing it, you're butthurt about metal gear solid 2, so is everyone else, doesn't mean you need to bitch and moan to everyone else

To be fair, in mgs2 raiden was an utter faggot. He whined and moaned about everything, constantly.

The fact that they beefed him up for mgs4 doesn't really make him cool, it just makes him overpowered.
