That's like getting mad that you can't be jewish because you want to eat pork. gays are asking us to change religion to suit them, now I believe gays should receive the same RIGHTS as a married couple, however it is unfair to make us twist our beliefs and change our culture to suit them, also, proof of evolutionism, as I stated before, can only go back so far, what happened before cannot be proven by any science. We could just have been shit out of a giant space lizard and turned into what we would become, but science cannot prove otherwise. Lastly, your browsing the internet and wasting precious hours of your life, if you are to die you will go nowhere(according to you) and are wasting your only hours of life arguing why other people are ignorant because they have something to look forward to after death something that gives them hope. #59

However you are extremely intolerant to individuals who wish to practice their culture. You are clouding your mind with the belief that your science, can help you control your little world. I (unbelievably) am not Christian, nor atheist, nor agnostic. I believe that something beyond this universe formed what would become existence, and then left it be, just as a man who plants a seed. He has only done what was necessary to allow the seed to grow, nature takes its course and the seed "evolves" until it grows into a tree, a living being that is also a habitable world. Without intervention the seed would not have grown. (pretty poor example as the trees seeds may come to the soil in any manner, just focus on the idea.) So you see I don't believe a woman was made from the rib of a man, but I also do not tell someone who believes it, that he is wrong. | ||

To be honest, i would work for NASA for less money than an average salary. I would hate having a job that i knew i didn't want to do for the rest of my life. I'm hopefully going to be going into theoretical physics, which would be awesome. Although it doesn't beat traveling through space. #93

ilcecchino (05/13/2013) [-] well consider this/// for arguments sake 30k is the nececarry standard of living. 40k being a moderatly comfortable standard if i'm making 50k a year, 28% of that and now i'm down to 36k of disposible income. 30k for the neccecity of living. 6k to help make that a bit more comfortable but not really in the safe zone yet... that's 14k in taxes. now 200k a year even at 15% that's 30k in taxes. more than double mine. but now lets look at the disposibility of that income. 170k... 30k for necesitys... 10k for comfortibility... oh look that's only down to 130k... lets for arguments sake get a summer home now too and throw in another 10k for each house (even though 50k for the summer home wouldn't be true cause you arn't living there all year around) you now have 70k left to wipe your ass with while you live in a house with 10k more disposible income than i do... This is very dumbed down i understand but it's for the point not the math #136
