fuck history right? .......
music history isn't something you usually teach unless it's classical music. It's knowledge usually gained from experience from their environment. If you want to blame someone blame their parents.
Except, ya know, the Beatles are kind of a huge thing. Like, they are classical in their own way, a timeless band
I'm just saying it's not fully the kids fault for not knowing who he is. They first have to be exposed to it and leave a lasting impression. Then there's the whole The Beatles thing which means that they are more known by the band name than the member names.
Nearly every highschool in the fucking country requires two years of music, be it choir, band, or even just musical theory. They cover the classics and the most important musical movements. Including the goddamn Beatles.
I'm going to assume that when you learned about the Beatles you learn about the start and then there achievements that change the world and then the end of the group then move on to the next musical movement. It's like everything you learn in other history classes you remember dates, names and other important stuff and then put them at the back of your head at the end of the year. If it's mandatory to learn those kinds of stuff most people just take it in write it down then at the end of the year put the information at the back of their heads until it's nearly completely forgotten.
