Veteran on Trans Ban
Nice cherry picking - you forgot about our transgendered Navy SEAL...
That guy/girl/whatever wasn't a transgender navy SEAL. He was a SEAL, got out and then chopped his dick off. He didn't serve while transitioning.
It wasn't allowed, she would have been discharged. She was always trans, but had to wait until her retirement in 2011 after 20 years of service to actually get her problems resolved.
Sorry reality doesn't fit your narrative.
So she wasn't transitioning while in the military? Thanks for proving my point.
Did she suffer from gender dysphoria? Sure. Was she trans? No.
Transgendered (adjective): denoting or relating to a person whose sense of personal identity and gender does not correspond with their birth sex.
"but had to wait until her retirement in 2011 after 20 years of service to actually get her problems resolved."
I'm sorry then, not transgender, transexual.
If he behave like a man, took no drugs and did what had to be done, hey, fine! And probably nobody knew he wanted to chop his dick off. So no disruption.
I know you're just being pedantic for the sake of it, but then trangenders have an easy solution: shut the fuck up, and wait till you get out to be transexual.
Are you seriously too fucking stupid to even know what we're talking about? What's the word in this picture to the left? What does Donald Trump say?
, you fucking walnut. And you don't stop being transgender once you've transitioned - if you learn how to read you'll see "birth sex" in the definition.
It's like wanting bigger tits and getting bigger tits. Just because you now have bigger tits does not mean that you did not or do not want bigger tits than you originally had.
This action does not simply stop medical payments. This action does not simply stop in-service medical transitions. This action bans all transgendered people from ever serving in any part of the military. If someone finds they're trans, their careers are ruined. 87% of our military is not active service, but support service such as administration, cooks, doctors, et cetera. So you're firing people who have nothing to do with combat, too. It's fucked up beyond belief and you defending it is just God damn retarded.
" If someone finds they're trans, their careers are ruined."
Then don't tell anybody you like to put on women's clothes, dipshit. How the fuck is it that hard to understand that if you want to perform military roles, you better fucking act like a soldier first and whatever the fuck you want to be seen as second? How do you think the guy you showed did? Went on to kill badies and when he returned to base immediately put on stockings and short dresses? No, he didn't.
And don't get me "oh, most trans are doctors and cooks" bullshit, cause I guarantee you they aren't. Most assumed trans are on special bullshit roles like "gender advisor" and other stupid bullshit that has 0 use on the military. But if they wanna serve that much, just don't tell anyone you're trans(gender). For fucks sake, how hard is it to understand that?
The military has always been discriminatory and not a place for your special needs bullshit.
It literaly does, becuase the person was not in the military while they where transitioning.
Because it was a liability, and they knew it would be. So they waited.
No, because it was against the rules. If they even so much as came out as transgender, she would have been discharged and her whole career ruined. Nevermind the surgery, which I doubt she would have taken at the time because of the work ethic she has.
It's a different debate to discuss whether reassignment should be covered or allowed for active service members. However for the 6:1 majority of support jobs and those cases where they aren't seeking special medical care, being transgendered does not make them inherently better or worse.
But this is now going off topic. The above poster tried to claim that somehow all trannies are bad because one of them was bad - but the other representative is literally a distinguished and respected SEAL. Regardless when she transitioned, it proves that transgendered people are more than capable and can be the cream of the crop. Who would have thought - they're the same as all other human beings: capable of terrible deeds and great goods alike.

Look at these!
I've never watched harry potter. Is it a series worth watching?
It's a new fantasy world to explore. The Harry Potter series is alright, much better if you grew up with it. However, the newest movie (which the picture is from) Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is great without needing to have read/watched any of the other material.
It recently came out on pirateb... I mean Blueray. Go check it out.
Great series, books are wonderful too.
No. It is one of the dullest franchise in the history of movie franchises. Each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series' only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.
Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it's certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.
>a-at least the books are g-g-good though
The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character went for a walk, the author wrote instead that the character "stretched his legs."
I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Rowling's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Stephen King. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Harry Potter at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Harry Potter" you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King
