I'm 20, going to college, considering OCS post-college (obviously I'd have to quit smoking but it's not a big issue). And damn, that sounds fuckin awful man. Though, for injuries like that, you may need something more potent than weed. Weed helps, but it can only do so much pain relief next to drugs designed for it, pot is just preferable for lesser pains because of less severe side effects.

Understandable, and it really does help with most forms of physical pain, but it's not everybody's thing. Most people I know who have smoke agree the feeling of being high is great (even those who have quit since) but I do know plenty of people who say the feeling makes them very uncomfortable.

As for not getting high, if it was your first time smoking, that's common. I don't have the exact statistic but a slight minority of people who smoke report not feeling the effects the first (and sometimes second) time. This is often dismissed as "not inhaling properly" but given the large consistency with which this occurs, there's probably another, physiological reason.

Lol, apparently someone doesn't like us talking about pot. A little background about myself so that I'm not mistaken for some 15 year old stoner. I'm 22 years old and an Air Force veteran. I was apart of the 1st SOW, not going to list my squadron because it'd probably be too easy to loose my anonymity that way. I have a fractured vertebrae, a fucked up neck, a torn meniscus in both knees, misaligned hip, and numerous other physical problems. Basically I'm in a lot of fucking pain 24/7. I'm thinking about getting a medical card, but i don't think my insurance will cover it.

If you're not feeling anything but slight and temporary pain relief, you're other not smoking enough or it's shitty weed (assuming you mean weed cause who the fuck smokes tobacco for pain relief)

I started smoking because my friend told me it would make my IBS more bearable, and he was right. After one session of decent smoking, my stomach barely hurts at all for the next few days or so.

Yeah, pot not tobacco. I smoked a lot for my first time, my ex was determined to get my high. I don't know much about pot, but I'm assuming it wasn't shitty. Not like it matters, the only reason I smoked with her was for the pain relief, I don't have much of an interest in getting high.
