It's actually insanely easy to do against terrible pilots. Usually they are so predictable that I can just shoot and almost every time take them down.

you aware how many dumb pilots that line up and do a slow sloop to engage their target like a scrub?

It's really not that hard, if they fly low, its easy to hit them, and if they are diving, try and drive upwards on a hill, then you can get a shot

I actually like that battlefield is not super realistic, Just look at Arma 2

Its fun in some mods like Dayz but the normal multiplayer is quite boring

BF3 is the between run and gun like CoD and more serious game like arma or american army

but arma 2 super realistic and realistic, I have raided the enemy airfields on goats and sheep.....the night ride of sheep,cow,goats ect (they can walk quite fast)

ACE and ACRE and a decent realism unit gives so many hours of fun

I think the keyword is "more". Unless you are comparing it to arma series ofc.
What's so fun about it is you can do whatever comes into your mind, and you can customize your role to fit into any kind of role.
