Given that the SNP is our only real hope for an independent Scotland, immigration policy and border control will probably be quite slack. But the first elections within an independent Scotland will feature a lot of legitimately Scottish candidates, with Scottish interests in mind for a change.
We'll still be in the EU, so that resolves a lot of the issue. EU Nationals can obviously live and work in any EU country and tourism will be encouraged (which has always flocked to Scotland)
I don't like a lot of the policies the SNP have. But once new political candidates emerge we'll have much more to choose from, the Scottish people would benefit as a whole.

The SNP already proposed keeping open borders with the UK in the event of independence. Although its most likely we will be accepted into the EU, its not guaranteed. But then again, with the UK vote on the EU we'd have better chanced being in the EU if we left the UK. I don't see the point in wanting to join the EU though, we're basically saying we don't want a foreigner ruling our country from 500 miles away, so we're going to hand over control to a foreigner 700 miles away. Since the yes campaign is aiming for an economy like Norway, they should follow in Norways steps and just join the EU free trade and not the EU as a whole.
Im with you on not liking most of the SNP's policies. I hate when people assume that independence is a vote for Alex Salmond.
Its nice to see someone else that wants Independence. Everyone else I've met has either been unsure (Because the economy is a bit shitty to be trying to go alone) or a completely mislead retard that's main excuse not to leave the UK is in case of extra roaming charges on their phone.
