That sounds like it sucked man. As far as lines go, the picc line and the hickman are pretty uch the same thing. The pick just goes for an artery in your arm and snakes into your chest, where as a hickman goes directly into the chest and into an artery. The hickman is usually used for older patients doing things like chemo, and a picc is for treating diseases and such like you had, since it's easier to put in and remove, but harder to maintain over time.(sorry for the random knowledge that you probably don't give a shit about)

Nah,im not dead yet man. I have a general idea of the transplant date so I've been trying my best to get out and enjoy nature while I still can. Updating you guys has completely slipped my mind. I'll try and get some pictures of the papers and have an update posted by midnight.I'm sorry.
