i dont know you and i dont know her so i dont know much about the situation, what i do know is she has been with her boyfriend for some time hasnt known you very long and is still with her boyfriend, if you ask her now you will be forcing her between you and her boyfriend and even if she has feelings for you its not very likly she will go your way just because of how short of a time she has known you, a better option would probably be to try to get closer to her now become her friend and then see what happens rather then diving head first and ruining what might happen in the future
