| i dont play mtg because of the changing format thing or w/e where you ahve to buy new cards, im poor so i stuck to yu gi oh with my old X-Saber deck :D #115

ichbinlecher (02/11/2013) [-] In the past, the only non changing format was legacy (or vintage, but we don't talk about that), which required tons of money to get into. These days, modern has been invented and they are doing their best to make the cards cheap enough for everyone to have access to. Standard is the only one that requires one to constantly update - it is unfortunately the most played format. #6

ichbinlecher (02/11/2013) [-] Sad day. It requires a bit of investment and creativity, but there are so many decks open (even in standard right now, which is unusual). I am currently playing aggro and wishing a more casual deck was viable since it would be loads more fun.

| Personally I believe God created all of existence but I don't think it was done in 6 days, it felt like six days to God because he is eternal but for Humans it was more like 13.4 billion years. #46

ichbinlecher (02/10/2013) [-] There is a name for that belief, I can't remember what it was called - eon/day theory maybe? Another nifty one is from Stanghammer (I think I spelled that right), he believes that the first verse is creation of existence, and then the rest of Genesis 1 and 2 is about preparing the promised land for Israel, and then creating the first ancestors of Israel, Adam and Eve. So basically, God is tera-forming Eden for his chosen people. I simply say God did it, but I don't know how.

ichbinlecher (02/10/2013) [-] I know why the limits are in place, but them being there still gets abused. For the most part I am generous with thumbs, but I dislike the groups that make jokes no one else will get - or worse that only get thumbed for the subject matter (much like how boobs make front page). But rather than gripe in the comments section, I take it to practice - except when I am blocked from doing so, then I gripe, as seen.

| Perhaps, I must have missed that one this guy is spamming too. Besides whats the harm in it? So OP posts a lot of pony things, He likes pony so do a lot of other people on this site why cant anon just let them enjoy it and skip posts he doesn't like? #26
-
ichbinlecher (02/10/2013) [-] I for one tend to thumb down and skip every pony post (unless it is truly funny, then it just gets skipped). But when you see a dozen in a row by one guy that are all awful and I con only thumb down 5 times, then what else do I do to show my dislike. The point of the site is to create a ranked content that can be browsed easily. By post dozens on things back to back, and having a thumb limit, you break the system because people can't thumb down enough to prevent bad content from rising. The limits are also in place to keep hateful users from indiscriminately thumbing down a users posts for the sole purpose of getting that user banned besides just because you don't like it or find it funny doesn't mean others do. I tend to skip everything unless it was really really funny #28
