But jeah as i said, it's not easy to say "that's the camera for beginners, that's the good one that's the shitty one" because each cam, each set-up, each lense is making the feel for the cam totally different and stuff. however, you might learn that if you'll user different cameras in the next time but let us focus on the current case.

Photos in the dark without Blur are nearly impossible without a freaking steady hand. well, they aren't that shitty but you can't catch movement at night unless there's some semi light from spotlights into crowds. i guess photos of bands or similar might be easy. There's a camera a friend told me about it;
The Canon EOS 1100D
-one of the fastes reaction time ( 100ms shot delay )
-camera starts really fast itself
-high resolution movies ( 720p ) [ always nice to take videos from shows ] ^^
-755 ISO ( How much light it catches at night, 755 is above avarage )
-alot of automatic support on focus ( so you don't have to bother much with adjusting after each picture which stands for the swiftness of this camera )

but though all these crazy swift stats sill, getting good pictures of movement or similar things are requireing tripods or a special lense which are having an wider range for things bla bla

about the lense, you could take a casual lense with 18-55mm ( zoom and focus factor ) not bad but nothing special and not that expensive, most of the offers on amazone or anywhere else on the internet are giving 18-55mm lenses as standart equipment.

and jeah, you could/should take some time checking some offers on the internet, here's a link which compares 2 cameras really nice, pretty accurate and stuff ^^ i don't know a lot of cams since there are so freaking many models of each lable but i hope i could help with this post

if you want a digital camera then for that price get a fully digital camera. i would recommend an analog SLR because there are more variables in the exposure you can miss with, and it's more difficult than pointing and shooting.

I ended up getting a Nikon D3100, with a kit lens and a 55 - 200 mm lens, only for 400, so im quiet content

Only the lenses would be worth it.
it's hard to tell, requirable camaras are always ALWAYS depending on what you're going to use them for.

But a reflex camera below ~300 $ would be worth it if you're kinda interested, if not, get a digital cam. well, the EOS 10D is great for night pictures and has a neat optimaztion for different lenses but there's not much mentionable exepct that it is a reflex camera. 6MB, an smartphone might be better in that case, Maximum ISO is 1,600 ( the fuck m8 ).
But i wouldn't recommend that even if you don't even want a camera, Cams like this are getting worth the money at 300 i can tell, 100 more and you could get the EOS 1100D with 20 more advantages.

Thank you very much, can you recommend a good camera for 400 ATM? I would like something 200 -400. If it helps im very new to photography ( As in i know nothing ) and i want one so i can experiment with it over the summer, majority of my photos will be at a local music venue of the bands and crowd so itll be fairly dark most of the time with alot of movement. So i guess i want something that wont blur every photo and will make some good looking photographs. Sorry for sounding nooby or dumb, but photography is something that ive always wanted to get into so this might be a start.
