I'm sorry that I behaved like a twat.
The only side of Birmingham, AL is what little I know from the Civil Rights Movement and that of an incredibly homophobic white kid I know from school. I know nothing more about Birmingham; I haven't looked closer because I'm not interested in seeing more of the little that I have seen.
I see now that I have been unfair towards a city, judging it by one sour apple and history now fifty years behind us.


I'm sorry for communicating things I should have kept to myself. I would be happy to delete the comments I made if you'd like.
Where can I learn about the real Birmingham?
