I think you're right but also very wrong.

Society has fucked things up. I'm pretty skinny but I'd rather spend my days hunting with a knife and bare hands killing stuff to bring home the meat and protect my territory, but I'm forced to live in a society dominated by corporate giants and have no choice but to slave away like a monkey for a master generous enough to throw me some scraps.

We live like fucking drones expected to go through a meaningless systems work dead end jobs and then fucking die. Everything is owned, you can't do shit without getting sued and there is so much politically correctness and bureaucracy in the way of everything it's enough to make me puke.

Society is just a decaying mass of stupidity humanity is overgrown and consuming the world like a virus and I'm not supposed to be upset? No one gives a shit anymore.

I've come to think that it's not a matter of stuff like this happening more, it's the more it is advertised in the media and whatnot. For instance, the teen pregnancy rate has decreased significantly in the past several decades, but because of shows like Teen Mom and 16 and Pregnant, people automatically assume stuff like that is happening everywhere. Also, people get mad when shows like Jersey Shore or Keeping up with the Kardashians becomes popular because they didn't "do anything" to deserve the fame. That's also silly because while the shows and the "celebrities" inspired by them are not the best people or role models, they provide entertainment. Is that so bad?

Kim Kardashian's failed 72 day wedding could have paid for 312 years of my College tuition that I have to work my skin off in order to pay.
She can afford shit like that simply because she is a media icon, whereas there are other peole who struggle to maintain a simple living.
