This is a 45mm anti-tank gun, so 45mm ammo would basically be large enough to be fire out of this thing. Now imagine a pistol that could shoot that ammo, that's the joke. It's supposed to be .45mm, but they forgot the period before the 45.

It can't be .45mm. That would be about the width of the fullstops here.

Not the same thing, no. But the same idea, more or less. 'Calibre' (or 'caliber') is just the width of the bullet. It can be measured in mm (e.g. 9mm) or inches (e.g. .45, .40).

Nah, think of Caliber and Millimeter as two different units. Like inches and centimeters. .45 cal is 45 hundredths of an inch- (Just under half an inch)
It's the alternative to the slightly more popular 9mm, which has a diameter of 9 millimeters.

I think so. The thing is, they meant .45 but forgot the period, a 45mm bullet would be a huge ass bullet.

Well yelling "drop the weapon " while you shoot him 2 seconds after you jumped out of you cruiser. Is not standard procedure. Also running up to him till you are 3 feet away somehow makes it impossible to tazer him instead ?

If you junp out of your car with guns blazing you went there to kill someone not to calm down a situation.
