Truly, dreaming can also be pretty fun too. It's not nothing- but it's experiencing beauty in a different kind of way. Sort of like reading a story you wrote by instinct. So sleep isn't negative in that sense.

Oh, I certainly can't disagree with dreaming.
Dreaming's great, in dreams you can become a pirate, a time traveler, a hero or a villain. I just didn't consider that when the image said "sleep" cause they talked about becoming "nothing" when they went to sleep. As if it was just a pleasure to be valued at nothing because life outside of that was so poor!

Personally, I don't think sleeping is negative at all, I love it. In fact, lying in bed at night once all my work for the day is done could be my favourite time of the day. I just felt the original motive rather than the idea behind this post was a bit glum.

I had nightmares that the bear and the lion lived in the house behind ours, and that any time I entered my conservatory that looks on to that house, they would run out of their house, in to mine through the conservatory and attack me.

I had the nightmares a good few years, I was still scared of going in to my conservatory at night for a long time after that.
