Well your somewhat right, its L4D with a fleshed out melee system and loot system that is based around rodents instead of zombies. And thats not a bad thing. Its a good game and honestly outside of L4D there arent that man games like it. And I think its high time we had some more since L4D2 came out a while ago and we all know how Valve feels about 3s.

yes but no. Theres a whole progression system with weapons and gear instead of just finding the gun on the ground like L4D. all the characters play differently. The melee combat is much much better than L4D.

Well yeah of course. They mainly use guns in L4D. I don't think melee combat was at the top of their list to improve on.

So play-wise its very similar to L4D in the extreme basically being a run from point A to point B and kill everything in your way kinda game. But the other stuff like the customization/personal choice of weapons and gear and the fact that every character plays much differently from every other character instead of them just being different skins carrying guns is what makes the game feel different and awesome.

honestly its pretty much a reskin of l4d...except with swords and magic instead of guns...the monsters are same,the premise is similiar, the objective are the same. only different thing is that the characters handle somewhat differently compared to each other..and even that is more of a marginal (the dwarf and the merc are interchangeable for one)


its a good game but.-.comeone you cant seriously be trying to sell it as "new" or "innovative" or any of that crap...

I dont think I ever said "new" or "innovative" as a whole, I agree its a L4D clone but it's got more shit added to it which make it better imo.

Nah it was more like it being 1:15 in the afternoon and my body not letting me fall asleep again.

There are mid objectives in between like blowing open a door in one mission where you have to get to a tower to sound a horn so the residence know that there have been a breach by the Skaven.

I never played L4D all that much cuz zombies kinda bore me but yea there were some objectives as well, and teh same goes for vermintide. One mission you need to blow up a giant signal bell, another you need to clear the town of the skaven, and other such missions exist but the two games are very very similar in play style.
