The aliens look like weird characters, but due to the memories everyone feels like they've known them for ages, like a "whacky uncle gary" or whatever. In the end it turn out the aliens only make happy memories, so they kill them all based on who they've only had good memories with. That guy appears at the start, and is eating dinner with them at the end, celebrating killing all the eliens. Then the wife realizes he's an alien and shoots him. Turns out he wasn't, he was just a really nice guy and she had no bad memories of him. and apparently he is hidden in other episodes in the crowds, so he was always there. daftiduck (08/19/2015) [-] Touma can be a bit of a dense motherfucker sometimes, but I guess that's just par for the course if you're the main character. If Misaka zaps him, he probably deserves it. He makes up for it by not discriminating with his punches. I'm still waiting for something anime-related to happen in the Raildex universe. A 3rd season of Index or Railgun, an adaptation of the Accelerator manga, or even just confirmation that SOMETHING is happening. It's looking more and more like the anime's been abandoned. Yeah, and unlike pretty much every other character capable of anger on the show, Misaka has never lashed out at him for anything accidental, almost exclusively doing it when Touma is doing something stupid or insulting. And there's no way J.C.Staff have abandoned Index. Just under a year ago they released a special celebrating Kazuma Kamachi's (Index' author) 10th year as a professional writer. And next season they're serializing Heavy Object, another one of his works. So they seem intent on cooperating with Kamachi and milking him for what he's worth. BTW: If you aren't already, you should totally read the LNs. J.C.Staff have done an epic job adapting them, so there's very little disparity taking them up where the anime ends, and there's twice as much material ahead of you as there is behind you, with shit just getting more epic as it goes on. I recently started watching index and railgun. While it's not exactly 10/10 anime the universe is pretty interesting and I'm only half into index so far. I've sorta skimmed the first chapter in the novel and seems easy enough to read. Ive never read a LN too lazy but I'm actually looking forward to this one after I've finished the anime. #61 -
daftiduck (08/19/2015) [-] Railgun S and the movie aired alongside Attack on Titan in 2013. It's almost 2 and a half years since anything big happened anime-wise with Index. It was close to 2 years between Index 2 and Railgun S, so there's that, but if they wait any longer it won't be smart marketing. <The most we got was this cock tease of an April fools joke. I very rarely read manga, let alone the original material for anime I've watched. I only really read it when the anime ends and the original material is still ongoing. Like with HOTD, I only read the manga because there was 0% chance of a season 2, but the manga carried on further than the anime. So if I ever start reading Index and Railgun, it won't be a good thing. I'll probably start reading it after Christmas, if nothing's been announced before then. #151 -
anon (08/22/2015) [-] The reason for hype would be because it makes you think how awesome Index III will be and makes you imagine what those scenes would look like animated by numerous professionals in a real work environment. Could you imagine it with Railgun S' animation. Though I highly doubt Index III will have the 1 million yen per episode budget that Railgun S had, I can still frickin' dream!! (Until then I humbly go back to reading NT13) Also, note that the anime has only covered 13 out of the 22 volumes of the Toaru Majutsu no Index LNs, after which there are also 13 volumes of Toaru Majutsu no Index: New Testament to cover. Even assuming they were to adapt it continuously from next season and onwards, it would take them at least 3 years to cover the existing material, in which time at the current pace, Kamachi would write enough material for half a year more. If you want any hope of catching up within the next couple of decades, reading the LNs is the only option. That video was definitely interesting... I guess that and this year's Index April fools video show that Index is still relevant. When is the 10th anniversary? The problem I have with reading the LNs is just me being stubborn. Here's my thought process: I don't want to read them because if I do and more gets adapted, then I'll be spoiled because I'll know what happens. I'm also being a huge hypocrite here, and I know it, because I'm reading the Prison School and monster Musume mangas, and have no problems with watching the anime adaptations of them. As I said, I only really want to start reading Index LNs if I'm sure the anime's done. I've never even read any light novels, only manga, so I don't even know what the difference between the two is. It was April 10th, 2014. Where a manga is a comic, a light novel is a book. An LN is a serialization consisting of short novels, about 200 pages per volume. They're mostly text with few pictures. And even when you know what's coming, it doesn't detract from the experience here. First thing I noticed when I started reading it was that the characters had exactly the same impression as they did in the anime, that J.C.Staff had done such an A+ job of casting that I could still hear the voices in my head while reading and have been looking forward to hearing the VAs speak the lines since. I started with Toaru Majutsu no Index 14, as the anime ended at 13 (Academy City Invasion arc) and SS 1 (Skill-Out). And yeah, release order is optimal, it'd be kind of hard to do anything else. It's just Index 1-22, followed by New Testament 1-13, with a few short stories dotted around but mostly disconnected from the main story. It can be kind of hard to find the first series now that Yen Press has the rights to translate it, so here's my Dropbox folder of it: www.dropbox.com/sh/0k2fbadp7ar8lpu/AADCfczEpF5C2cTPcYlPariJa?dl=0 | ||

There's one thing about the Shadow Isles champions i thought of. Like, Thresh, Karthus and Kalista all more or less become more powerful the more souls they have
The main concept is that Karthus teams up with each of them to gain extra power and blow away the enemy team / base with one ult. And of course some reference to the Karthus/Thresh -Kalista ships
Like the idea? I also have a rough concept of how the comic could go. If you don't mind. I don't want to sound bossy or anything and i don't know how that stuff goes as this is my first time.
Feedback?

ii tried drawing him myself. But that's not easy when all you have is a mouse, MS Paint and medecine studies.
Let me try
Panel One: Karthus, Thresh, Kalista, Mordekaiser waiting in the red base when hecarim comes, excusing himself for being too late.
Panel Two: Thresh complaining that the enemy team is taking baron and that they can't contest it anymore
Panel Three: Kalista telling Karthus to ult and keep them from SLaying Nashor, Karthus being doubtful about being strong enough
Panel Four: Kalista telling him otherwise, leans in for a kiss Maybe just the silhouette, the focus being on , Thresh Heca and Morde in the back with different reactions on their faces Morde just being like "HUE"
Panel Five, Karthus overcharging,
Next to
Panel Six, Enemy team killed Baron, Soraka wants to save her allies but they all get blown away in
Panel Seven PENTAKILL
Panel Eight: Heca&Thresh highfive, Kalista being like "that means our relationship is something special" blablabla
Panel Nine: Karthus laughs, Saying that he just borrowed the power of the souls in her, Grabs Thresh for Demonstration and
Panel Ten: gives him a forced smooch
Panel Eleven: Karthus supercharges, Enemy team has respawned,
Panel Twelve: Blue Nexus gets annihilated
Panel Thirteen: Individual reaction of Team Red. Something along with Kalista and Heca with dropped jaws, Thresh daring Karthus who is laughs it off and Morde hueing away
I hope i didn't overthink it. Your opinion?

hey man sorry I took so long to get back to you.
Turns out when I try and draw anything decent it takes forever. Sorry, but 13 pannels is just too long to be worth the effort, but I'd still love to make something. Any other ideas? Something short like zulidoodles or tales of valoran is better.
Pic is the reference sheet thing I just finished. Took ages to make.

so, my online class has these "Online Office Hours" where the instructors and the students can type / voicechat live about chemistry and stuff and ask / answer questsions etc
required to attend at least one.
if you cant atttend, you can view an archived session then email the instructors saying that you did
i downloaded a session, but you need the special program to view it. so i DLd and installed that too
now im worried that the instructors can actually see if i watched the whole thing or not
its an hour long and its about stuff that i dont need to review. im running it in the background on mute just in case.
is it normal to be this paranoid?

no one wants to do it but i have the raws for sevral chapters and if i have time ill do them
yeah, but it's cool when it's done for fun.
It's kinda sad when it's one person doing all the work or else the whole project crumbles. That's a lot of pressure.
That's why I'm nervous about the index novel series. There's like, one guy doing the whole thing as far as I know.
