False. Poetry existed in England even before the 12th century- at about the 7th century, there was literature written in Old English that included epic poetry, hagiography, sermons, Bible translations, legal works, chronicles, riddles, and others. A big poem back then was called Beowolf. The 12th century was when the tradition of the troubador surfaced.

But, Beowulf is an old Viking's poem, not English... It was, indeed, popular.. Just not English in origin,

True that. Yeah, Beowulf was very popular in England, mostly because it was told by the Vikings who would set up camp during their raids. It's a universally likable tale, and so it caught on.

I thought they were both amazing, First one I think I have to put as my favorite game of all time. Second one doesn't have as good of a story-line, but the gameplay is a lot better, and the story-line is still about 10x better than the average game.

This is the first game out of rapture, so I think he's just worried it won't live up to the previous titles. I'm gonna miss rapture ='( but I'm excited to meet Columbia. I think this game will be good, but only time will tell.
