Ahh okay I get ya. Yeah, I wouldn't imagine most normal people would experience life changing effects from quitting porn, especially if their use was only moderate to begin with. But I'd definitely imagine it would be an improvement, however slight. I think porn makes it easier to get off, not necessarily better, ya know? But hey, I honestly don't know much at all about this stuff so I'm not authority on the matter.

I'd think that use of porn would desensitize you even if you don't use it much just because of how excessively visual and unrealistic it can be. Maybe cutting back would enhance the physical experience? I'm totally guessing but if you really wanna know, you'd be better off doing legit research instead of asking around here.

I have done research, I'm just here to see if I can find anyone from this site that gave it a try (preferably someone without the "porn is bad" story). This is just one of a few places I've posted my question.

One of the reasons I posted here was because I was bored, and figured that you folks would have something interesting to say about it. I never expected to be enlightened or anything, but a personal anecdote from a "normal" person wouldn't hurt.

Nah brah, don't misinterpret me, I'm saying I really doubt there is any story that doesn't fit the "porn was ruining my life, I stopped, now I'm fucking super hot bitches" cliche
I just don't understand if you are looking for stories to motivate yourself or is just moribd curiosity

It's to see if it has a positive effect on your average Joe. Same thing as quitting coffee for a while just to see what it does to you.

The body is fairly complex, so I don't doubt that this could work for certain types of people. I just want to see if it's worth the hassle to get to the point where you start "noticing" a change. Doing this sort of thing is fun for me, but I want to make sure I'm not wasting my time by giving myself a case of blueballs.

So yeah, it's mostly morbid curiosity, but I'm naturally intrigued by the potential benefits and the idea of pushing my willpower.
