Election campaigns in Denmark aren't much better, it's still just a bunch of old farts discussing who is the most responsible parent for our country, and then the occasionally input by the faggot mass-media gossip about "OMG this minister didn't pay all the taxes, and her son is going to a private school even though she said she supports public schools!"

i don't care much for politics actually but i have to pretend to have a certain interrest and vote so that i am allowed to complain about how shitty the system is :P

I don't see how that is worse than any other political campaign.. It's always about smearing the opponent because he is a poo-poo-head, and saying that you will make everything better and lower the taxes (that gives Americans a hard-on).
