You are right, we even treat wounded enemy soldiers if they survive the fight. Neutralize the threat, only kill if needed.

I'm an army medic, even though I'm supposed to be there to treat wounded, I'm still expected to take part in a firefight. Keep that in mind.

Another point that an army job doesn't always have to be about killing! Although if you must you are expected to, most of your job is actually helping keep the living alive. Also thank you for your service

There will always be war. It doesn't matter if you, I or the rest of our nations agree with it. I myself serve and whilst no soldier advocates war, we understand that sometimes it is needed as there is no other way. Marines, Seals, Para's, it doesn't matter who you are or what you do, once you have spoken to the other side you understand that all they understand is the winner is the last one alive. The world isn't all your middle-class suburbia son.
