Did you do it through the Google Play website? I think it was only priced at $12.99 originally for me anyway. Might only work on Chrome ( don't judge if this doesn't make any sense; I don't know if browser actually matters ?

I am not he, but I can provide services.

Chess nuts boasting in an open foyer is wordplay, it sounds like Chestnuts roasting in an open fire.

i think most lines are insulated (atleast in norway) else the bearing for the wires would be live aswell. but I have heard (i am not sure of this) that the electric field around high power cables are so high that if something that can make the construction electric, it can produce quite high currents. thats why high power cables need to be a certan distance from each others, as if these fields crash, the can create an electric arc(thats the word i think)

I studied electrical engineering. I used to work for APC (American Power Conversion) years ago, but there we had 40kVA backup units (UPS - uninterruptable power supplies) that we had to test and even get to explode and shit. Was pretty fun for my first job outta school. But then I moved to Europe and became a musician/programmer.

really? I'll have to go outside and look, but I remember looking up at the power/telephone lines as a child and seeing them insulated with black rubber. Otherwise every time a powerline comes down because of weather or an accident, we'd have what - 100m of 40kVA live wire on our hands?
#27 - hillzy (12/23/2014) [-]
Pretty much, yeah. Im only an electrician and not a linesman but chances are your bigger transmission lines won't be insulated. Distribution lines might have some insulation but it really depends on the area.

but where in the world are power lines exposed? Must be Serbia or something.
#24 - hillzy (12/23/2014) [-]
Also, most powerlines are exposed anyway. It's only when they go from the street to your house they are insulated.

because of difference in electric potential - yeah, I know. I just didn't see any sparks and didn't see what they hit with the scaffold and it just looked like they couldn't handle their shit anymore
