| Not legally, but it still happens, and it's often considered economic suicide to stop it. The "too big to fail" effect. That's also a fair complaint, but the economic migrants are fucked if none of them want to do any work because the short term relief is shit for anyone who doesn't really need it. #168 -
heyyoutoo (01/11/2016) [-] Germany had cheap labor force from other European countries, you know, the newly joined ones? From what i understood, they didn't need unqualified workforce that doesn't understand the language because most of people that left my country to work abroad went to England. | It's the problem of the hedonic treadmill. They're so used to living in shitholes that what we'd consider shitty in our own nation seems peaceful and pleasant to them. We have the same problem in the US with Hispanic illegals. Labor laws don't matter when the people involved aren't full citizens. The cultural conflicts aren't an externality, they're expected. It's what keeps the labor force separate. Not legally, but it still happens, and it's often considered economic suicide to stop it. The "too big to fail" effect. | No banning guns won't work in the US, they're gun culture is too large and they would revolt because Muh Freedoms! If they could change it to something that resembles the Australian system where no firearm is technically illegal you just need the right licence to acquire them and the more "dangerous" the firearm the harder it is to acquire. It's next to impossible to get a Fully-Automatic here, but it is possible. If your a Private Military Company or something. | ||
