You spend money on friends, buying drinks etc. And if you were homeless would you still have those friends?

How many homeless friends do you currently have? So yes friends cost money and so do the other two not even going to debate against them.

Actually, I don't spend money on friends. In many scenarios I'm the charity case, mooching money because I don't have pocket cash. If I were homeless to start with, maybe I wouldn't. If I became homeless, yes I would. My friends aren't as shallow as the ones you apparently have.

And they don't have to.

Music cost money, acting cost money, even your friends cost money.

Music doesn't have to, nor does acting. It was around way before acting. Even now, people make fucking guitars, or act on sidewalks in the city for free. And if your friends cost money you have shitty, shitty friends. Which considering, makes sense.

I saw Tim McIlrath at the Barrymore Theatre in Madison, Wisconsin. He played acoustic guitar and performed Prayer of the Refugee, Everchanging, and one other song that I forgot. I got to go on stage with him and stand about 10 inches from him. It was friggin awesome.
Not only that, but Tom Morello and some other guy from MC5 (forgot who) were there.

Oh, being that close is fantastic. I saw Panic!at the Disco, Papa Roach and Seether from that distance. It was quite enjoyable.

Heaven Knows by Rise Against is the only song I know that has such powerful lyrics, other than 10,000 Days by Tool.

Lyrics good, but I don't find it as pleasing to the ear, as say, Life Less Frightening or Paper Wings
