In all of Sato's cars. Not in every single car he created. Just the ones he and his daughter owned.

that wasnt one of his or asamis cars it was korras -.-

Think about this. If it was Korra's car, how the hell did they drive it off of Air Temple ISLAND?

they used a ferry to take it across the water?
#196 - hewhoisnotyou (06/11/2012) [-]
that or you know it was never on the island because then id ask how the fuck did they get it on the island

Why would Asami be the one to suggest using Korra's car? That makes no sense. She had just arrived on Air Temple Island so I doubt she knows that much. And Asami said Sato had police scanners put in "all [our] cars" .
#197 - hewhoisnotyou (06/11/2012) [-]
actually she said 'all his cars' implying all sato mobiles

#198 - spiffymariposa (06/11/2012) [-]
But that doesn't make sense. Then every citizen would have a police scanner and could potentially interfere....it makes more sense that he was talking about his personal cars.

10/1=10 10/.1=100 10/.01=1000 10/.001=10000 and so on. 10/0= infinity. Perhaps I wasn't being quite clear, and technically it is the limit of x approaching 0 10/x= infinity, but he concept is the same. all you idiots that thumbed be down because your seventh grade teacher told you that you can't divide by 0 need to think a bit more openly.
#241 - hewhoisnotyou (06/11/2012) [-]
infinity in math means itll eventualy reach a point that point is an infinite amount away but in the case of dividing by zero you cannot reach that number of groups to make 10 itmes into zero groups the number does not exist because you would have to destroy what ever item your grouping to achieve 0 groups and if your 8yr brain cant understand that tell how would take 10 pennies and put them in 0 groups ( 10/0 )

You're a moron. Do you know what calculus is? Telling me I have an eight year old brain and then telling me to work with pennies to figure out how to divide. The limit of x approaching 0 10/x = infinity. Just like 2+2=4. Don't believe me? Go ask anyone that has an education in math above the high school level.
#243 - hewhoisnotyou (06/12/2012) [-]
*sigh* "x approaching 0 " WE ARE TALKING ABOUT X BEING 0. 1/x makes the line asymtotic to 0 meaning what you are giving as an example has nothing to do with what we are talking about. here are some things to help:

try to put something into 0 groups (its simple but thats how division works)

put it in a fucking calculator

google it

Yes, and what the limit means, is that when x IS 0 the answer is infinity. As it approaches 0, it gets closer and closer to infinity. And thats the whole idea, at x=0 of y=1/x, y is equal to infinity.
#245 - hewhoisnotyou (06/12/2012) [-]
what your pointing out is the numbers close to 0 but are not zero referring back to comment 240 as you get closer to dividing by zero the numbers get bigger yes and approach infinity. but you are not dividing by zero just numbers close to zero

Listen dude, come back to me when you learn calculus. Any number divided by 0 except 0 is infinity. That's simply what the limit definition is.
#248 - hewhoisnotyou (06/12/2012) [-]
ok so if 1/0 = infinity then 0 * infinity is 1 right according to your logic
User avatar
#249 - renaissancemanxx (06/12/2012) [-]
Not necessarily. When you get to learning about infinity you'll find some really strange things. Infinity minus infinity? Not 0. At least not always. It can be 0, it can be a constant, it can be another infinity.
