At first I thought: "Man that's some of the most obnoxious drumming I've ever heard", but then I kinda warmed up to it. It's pretty distracting and unfitting at some places, and I honestly prefer using a bit more subtlety instead of just hammering everything as fast as you can all the time, but it actually works some places.

The drums are impressive, the part he plays, tbh, not so much...
Most of the things you hear is done by some kind of distortion.

goddamn that was awesome. I'm not usually one for speed metal, but that was impressively good.
User avatar #48 - edwardyeap (12/04/2013) [-]
That was death metal, speed metal is something towards X Japan - I'll Kill You (1989.03.16) or X japan - Kurenai (live 1993) Same band I know.
User avatar #95 - GoReMoTe (12/04/2013) [-]
Thanks, I wasn't sure what genre to place them under. Death seemed almost appropriate, but the lack of lyrics made it seem like technically proficiency at high speed was their goal.

I didn't factor in Haki but I still think that Brooke would win.
Also, Zorro's Haki is the Defensive Haki, yes it can be used offensively but it is best suited for defence and is more of an armor or extra reinforcement on a weapon than something that would actually damage Brooke's essence.
So in short I beleive that Brooke would win because he is skilled enough to keep up with Zorro, who doesn't seem to have anything that can damage Brooke's essence and therefore Brooke would win by outlasting Zorro, rather than directly beating him.

I think we can agree that it would be a close fight but I beleive that Brooke would win on account of his lack of blood.
Zorro might be able to ignore pain but eventually he would lose enough blood that he would have to forfeit the fight.
Brooke s abilities would allow him to continue fighting to this point.

Since they haven't had a fully fledged fight we have to use logic to deduct this, as I'm sure you are aware however I wish to state this early to remove the potential for idiots to give their opinions based on 'he's the awesome character' or some such.
Since Brooke could hold his own against Zorro in a sword fight, albeit likely on the losing side. Then would his powers not allow him to attain victory? After all he does not become tired the way most people do among other things.

User avatar #169 - herpitydorp (11/28/2013) [-]
but zoro is borderline superhuman. he can cut through steel. and his fight with monet leads me to beilieve zoro has some crazy fucking tricks up his sleeve. and to top it off his willpower to never die and be the best has shown to be very fucking strong too
User avatar #170 - epicalania (11/28/2013) [-]
I think we can agree that it would be a close fight but I beleive that Brooke would win on account of his lack of blood.
Zorro might be able to ignore pain but eventually he would lose enough blood that he would have to forfeit the fight.
Brooke s abilities would allow him to continue fighting to this point.
User avatar #172 - herpitydorp (11/28/2013) [-]
well if brooke can reattach limbs then he would probably win
User avatar #175 - epicalania (11/28/2013) [-]
I would assume he could since he has had his head knocked of several times and his ghostly essence stuff is what keeps his body together rather than his flesh and ligament and stuff.
User avatar #178 - herpitydorp (11/28/2013) [-]
thats a good point. well maybe he would win if that ghost stuff isnt affected by haki
User avatar #183 - epicalania (11/28/2013) [-]
I didn't factor in Haki but I still think that Brooke would win.
Also, Zorro's Haki is the Defensive Haki, yes it can be used offensively but it is best suited for defence and is more of an armor or extra reinforcement on a weapon than something that would actually damage Brooke's essence.
So in short I beleive that Brooke would win because he is skilled enough to keep up with Zorro, who doesn't seem to have anything that can damage Brooke's essence and therefore Brooke would win by outlasting Zorro, rather than directly beating him.

okay i think i can accept that

in age of empires there is a monk class that practically can convert other units from enemy to friendly by chanting wolololololo.

(aka the enemy changes color to match the side of the monk after it is used.)

What's it like working at In-n-Out?
User avatar #14 to #13 - herpitydorp (09/17/2014) [-]
It's a great place to work at but same problems as any food service job I suppose, the occasional angry customer. but In N Out actually pays quite well for a food service job
