| Oh that's the one? Where he's finally "killed" only to pull of some hibernation regenerative bullshit out of his ass? And he comes back to life how? Painfully obvious jesus symbolism, or just terrible writing? When did I say he came back to life? Different arcs do different things. In one, he might come back to life, in All-Star Superman the whole point of it is him dying. Shut the fuck up if you don't know what you're talking about. #105 -
SmilingJackSmyth (10/01/2015) [-] Believing he is on his home planet of Krypton, Superman joins his Kryptonian father Jor-El, who reveals that Superman's body is converting itself to a solar radio-consciousness. He offers him a choice: remain or come back to life. Clark wakes up and fights Luthor with a gravity gun. The gravity gun warps time for Luthor, burning out his powers. As his powers fade, Luthor briefly sees the world as Superman sees it, and weeps before Superman knocks him out. Superman and Lois embrace and he proclaims his love for her once and for all. He takes off, flies into the Sun and repairs it, saving the day for one last time. One year later, Lois tell Jimmy that still believes that Superman will return. Inside the sun, Superman, now a solar being, maintains machinery to keep the sun alive. The story concludes with Quintum revealing that if something happens, they will be ready, standing before a door with Superman's characteristic shield, but with its usual "S" replaced with the number "2". Read and weep, fuckface. Terrible writing it is. Oooh, "become one with the force" or resurrect. Guess who comes back to life again? Do you know the reason he had to use the gravity gun on him? Luthor developed a serum that would give him Supes' powers. He did this by mapping the Kryptonian genome. At some point during All-Star, Superman shows Lois a vision of the future using some kind of tech. He shows her that the Earth will have people like him to defend it, and she remarks something along the lines of, "He looks kinda like my dad." That sigil is for Clarks "children". Which has nothing to do with my point. Superman still faces no real risk, isn't in any real danger, there is no reason whatsoever to be worried for him. He dies, but not really (again), author forgets that Lois would instantly die in space as her powers expired (again). Nothing is lost, nothing is gained. Superman is still an overpowered shitty bland character, Louis is still only useful through superman, Luthor is still evil just because fuck you, and everything is solved because he's just so powerful. I've read better story arcs in goddamn fanfiction. | ||

| Red son was about him being born in russia and being a communist, and I have the injustice game and read the comics, so kind of. Injustice was refreshing until you realise that they basically made him Anakin Skywalker. Since it's in a different universe, it should be a different superman, but that isn't at all established before him killing Lois, so same problem with anakin, we don't see him as really good, and as a result the "fall" is just cliché. And of course it's all solved by our oh so interesting boyscout going around and bullying everyone else into submission, and of course he's just stronger than the eeeevil superman. So tell me about all-star superman. Yes, indeed. Good man! Now someone is going to reinstall it. me No idea, I wouldn't install win10 unless I had to. But the GoG version should. Oh that's the one? | And in which one of these is he genuinely in danger? Which one of these isn't solved by just showcasing how "awesome" and overpowered he is? Where, in ANY of his stories isn't he the death of credible writing? Red son was about him being born in russia and being a communist, and I have the injustice game and read the comics, so kind of.
