"The Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 is a mid-engined grand touring car. The Super Sport version is the fastest road-legal production car in the world, with a top speed of 431 km/h (268 mph).[4] The original version has a top speed of 408.00 km/h (253.52 mph).[5] It was named Car of the Decade (2000–2009) by the BBC television programme Top Gear.
Designed and developed by Volkswagen Group (based on the Bentley Hunaudieres concept) and produced by Bugatti Automobiles SAS at their headquarters in Château Saint Jean in Molsheim (Alsace, France), the Veyron's chief designer was Hartmut Warkuss, and the exterior was designed by Jozef Kabaň of Volkswagen, with much of the engineering work being conducted under the guidance of former Peterbilt Trucks engineer and now Bugatti Engineering chief Wolfgang Schreiber. Though commissioned by Volkswagen, this car is only sold through the Bugatti manufacturers and cannot be found at any Volkswagen dealer."

The Agera R can accelerate from 0–62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds and reach a theoretical top speed of approximately 275 mph (442.569 km/h),[1] making it faster than a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, although this has not been officially verified. On September 2 during test sessions in Ängelholm the Agera R broke six world land speed records for a production car, including 0–300 km/h (0–186.4 mph) in 14.53 seconds, surpassing the previous record of 14.6 seconds set by the Bugatti Veyron. The Guinness Book of Records has confirmed these results, and all data was measured and collected by a third party with the officially accepted Racelogic VBox performance recorder.[4][5]

That's nice, but it still doesn't change the fact that Bugatti is a German built, not French or Italian.

<- and this is still my favorite supercar, even though they're not made anymore, so fuck you, and have a nice day sir.

Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. is an automobile manufacturer located in Molsheim, Alsace, France. It is owned by the German automobile manufacturing group Volkswagen Group as a subsidiary of Volkswagen France.[1] It was founded in 2000[2] as a successor to the Bugatti Automobili S.p.A.

I know we're being all serious right now, but I read your "it is NOT ok" in a Mr. Macky from South Park voice.

While I agree with you, it doesn't mean that these people, or indeed any of the occupiers who practice violent behavior, are right. Too many occupiers and their supporters are using police brutality as a justification for their own actions, which is not only illogical, but juvienille. They're simply saying that "the other side is wrong, meaning that we must be right." No, it doesn't work that way. Both the police and the occupiers have taken things too far on multiple occasions, though regrettably, the police cannot step down from their position without allowing chaos and anarchy to stem from the uncontrolled tide of angry hipsters. So while both sides are wrong, the occupiers were the catalyst for these events, and therefore the only way they can cease is if the hipster crowd sucks up their need to pay student loans and goes home.
User avatar #112 - IcyWiener (11/22/2011) [-]
I still believe that it is their right to protest, which I love and proud of because it's a right we're lucky to have, but yes I do agree that the occupiers are being retarded when they use police "brutality" for their cause. I will however state that there have been acts of actual police brutality during the protests and it makes me sick. Hell, both sides are making me sick.
#62 - hemides (11/22/2011) [-]
Sorry, what exactly is violent in SITTING IN ONE SPOT? Honestly, I can't see how voicing your opinion peacefully (with some exceptions, I know) could cause anarchy in an entire society. Also, I too believe government/businesses are too powerful and kind of leave common people with basically a corner of a house and enough to get by, whilst one percent owns everything else. Idealistic Communism (not currently practiced Communism) would be a lot more efficient, as well as eliminate the need to have to voice opinions after society has had enough.
Now, I must take my leave, good day/night to you, and everyone on this great site.

i agree with icy and shurm. i say cool for the cause, but tea party pays for everything and cleans after theyre rallies. if the protesters had the respect for the public, the public would have respect for them.

User avatar #78 - MusicalWeasel (11/22/2011) [-]
police in london didnt have guns.....
User avatar #128 - CreativeCoding (11/22/2011) [-]
Yeah, but they all started because a police officer shot down a man with a gun after several warnings. While this is debatable, it's what caused it and does not give london people the right to riot, people were just looking for an excuse, and that was it.

There was actually an interview with the head of the police. They have the option and chose not to arm themselves, even a month after the rioting. They said they didn't even want to use non-lethal rounds and I quote "because we do not want to hurt our standing with civilians" .

tl;dr they pussied out, having no guns was an excuse.
