In his defense, he didn't know the door buffer was broken. He expected it to close at normal speed, not to slam shut with the fury of one-thousand misogynists.

But that was just what the woman was doing, expressing her feelings. This text also didn't mention the guy doing anything other that him being quiet and not responding to what the woman was saying in any other way than just letting go of the door and trying to leave. Sounds like something an aspie would do, with also him calling himself 'polite' in the beginning He couldve maybe responded to what the woman was saying to him or maybe apologize that he made her feel uncomfortable. The guy didn't even cause the door to hit her on purpose, but he still feels proud of himself for doing something "strong" and "brave" against her for fuck's sake!!

Well if you don't care then it's all right you don't have to read any more of this reply.
But what he then after feeling proud for what happened did was that he went to 4chan to write the thing out so everyone in the internet who red it could strengthen the potential idea in their minds that everything that a certain group of people think and feel is wrong and they should be punished for what they feel. And he knew that the readers of 4chan would enjoy it for just that reason. And yes, I realize that what the people would think is that the woman just wanted to replace women's oppression by men with men's oppression by women, but this very likely wasn't exactly what the woman thought and things would've been better of if he'd reassured her instead of just giving up on her and trying to leave the spot.

While I agree that the woman was overreacting a little bit, and slamming the door on her face really was an accident, but what I don't get is that he was proud that he hit the woman in the face, that saying that he couldve just as well been proud of that if he actually hit her in the face on purpose. I just really don't think that just because someone is expressing their opinion they deserve to be punched because you don't think the same. Violence solves nothing!
