life's good. Have been trying to reach a higher ranking in comments lately. mostly out of boredom though. how about you?

Just trying to pass the time. Lotsa video games, occasional books, so forth. Need to get my ass in gear and make some decisions in life, but im so content with my lazy life it's hard to get movin!

I know exactly what you're talking about. I felt like that last summer the whole time. The laziness is so sweet yet somehow you feel guilty or something. Like you're not contributing to anything at all. I was actually glad I could get into law school this year. You gotta do something eh?

I've got an opportunity to go to a Commercial Diving Academy, that's what i'm eyeballing presently, but my parents are overly supportive to the degree that i get nothing done!

hmm I don't think I fully understand what you're saying.. because your parents are very supportive you seem to get lazy? do you still live with your parents? When I moved out this year I felt really liberated from the slump I was living in before. parents can really pamper you thus making you lazy :P

I moved back with them after leaving college. I only did a semester before i realized my lack of motivation was going to have me failing courses left and right, as i had no drive or interest to succeed there.

Now my parents pay for everything, they don't pressure me to get a job, and they do all the housework except what chores i can beat them to doing. They ask nothing of me really.

okay well that sounds pretty fine to me. my parents would never act like that if I moved back though lol. but bro you have nothing to worry about. just enjoy it I guess. maybe get yoself a gf or something. I feel like now that I'm studying very hard time is very precious.. don't waste it on nonsense. even though FJ is really nonsense if you think about it..

FJ is my equivalence of social interaction now that my best friend moved away and everyone else i care about is so busy. Worrying about thumbs is nonsense in my opinion, but i like a lot of the people here, so i keep coming back

Fair enough on your part as well. How goes school and such though? Law school your passion in life?

I actually wanted to go to the police academy this year but my dad insisted I'd go to Law school. idk though. the idea of sitting behind a desk going through legal documents and all. but there is more money in it. and a better career perhaps. There is a lot of competition too. you can say that there is more to be expected from you. It sounds silly to be complaining about things that many people dont get a chance at to do..

True enough, first world problems eh? But it's more important to do something you like, not what earns the most money. Either way, law school could help in a police career in the long run

yeah I was actually thinking about that too lately. how I keep my options open now...
