tbh i'm not scared of anything, or maybe i am and haven't found it yet.
But inb4 the only fear is fear itself.
But it's boring since there is no thrill anymore. But
it's kinda amusing to see people get freaked out over stuff
thet fear. Not that I act like 'hot poo'.

imo!!

I think the over reaction to spiders on the internet is annoying.
It's like with Nutella and bacon.
Those people are annoying too though.

Yeah, if there's one thing I hate more than people who overstate NOT being scared, it's the people who overstate exactly HOW terrified of a thing they are. No one fucking cares.

It always hurts to lose a loved pet. When I was 21 or so, I lost my pet cat who had been with me since I was 7 years old. He didn't just die. I actually lost him. He got out and my then boyfriend (who became the ex after this) would not let him back in the house because he thought he "smelled funny."

That was the last time I saw him. Later, one of our neighbors spotted a wild bobcat in the woods behind our house. I fear for the worse, but I like to imagine maybe someone just found him and took him home with them. Either way, my little buddy was gone forever. And it hurt. There were a lot of tears, and that's normal. And everything will remind you of your pet, and that's normal too.

The best way to feel better is to transfer all that energy you're wasting on sorrow and turn it into love for a new animal. Find a new dog. Adopt one from the pound or, if you have ever wanted a pure breed dog, this might be your opportunity to explore that. Once you get a new pet, you have something else to love and you can still cherish your dog's memory. It may not feel like it now, but the pain does go away. And before you know it, you'll be making tons of new memories with your new best buddy for years to come.

Best of luck to you, friend.

get her stuffed and she will be with you...FOREVER

you know losing a pet is like losing a family member. its tough, i remember when my first dog passed away, it was so hard for me to move on. i eventually rescued a new dog at a shelter, cause he was literately bones. i was like fuck it, i took him and took care of him.

sometimes you just need to get another, it sounds bad, but i dont want to sound #rood but its just an animal, theyre here to give us comfort and company.

I had a dog who recently died after having her for about 10-11 years myself (I'm also 20). I didn't feel too bad about it though, with the circumstances of how she died, idk how your dog was doing before it died, but for me she was the same as she was for the past 5 or so years and then got sick really fast and then died. Maybe suffered for like 2 days tops. Just remember how good your dog had it and if it was sick then it isn't suffering anymore.

She was doing okay for her age but she got into some rat poison or something (we don't keep that in our house so we still don't know what it was) but it tears me up because I didn't even get to see her on the day she died. I don't even remember my last moment with her.

That's pretty ridiculous. If nothing happens in a story, then it isn't a story at all. Would they prefer students read about a perfect world where everyone is the same, and nothing of consequence happens? I certainly wouldn't. Of Mice And Men is a good story for students to read, and learn about literature from.

Imagine reading a book like that, where everything seems perfect. And it is, and you go through the entire book waiting for something to get fucked up but it just never does.

Maybe a character becomes self aware, but is immediately eliminated, and omitted from the rest of the story, and the reader has to try and piece together the ending.

The story is, just that, a story. It isn't meant to tell the reader to kill their friends. It is not a glorification of the events held within, merely a telling of them. Lennie killed a woman, regardless of his intentions or mental ability, and he would be lynched for it. George put him down instead. Your friend is allowed to analyze this as much as they like, but declaring it as offensive is beside the point.

Yeah but like, they're condemning schools for having the nerve to even make students read it as a literary requirement. That's what pisses me off about it.

How do you not remember the huge parade they had for George afterward? He was crowned king of the town and went on to have a long and fulfilling career of shooting disabled people. It was like the whole point.
