I'm not much to ask for opinions on guitars, but aesthetically I feel that I like the middle one most.

I need to buy guitar **** .

Yeah, I was just wondering which looked best... I may get the 2nd one because it reminds me of Meshuggah. :P

You're trying to get into playing music?

I've been playing guitar unprofessionally (little to no lessons) for about three years since my freshman year of high school. I still suck, in my opinion. I don't even play covers, I just make up my own **** , badly at that.

Trying to juggle learning bass at the same time too but it's only a four string. Would be cool to be able to learn a five string because i like their sound a lot better. It's more "twangy" or whatever. And I still need to get an amp head too. Too bad all this ****** expensive as it is.

pic related, it's the guitar I normally use

Oh yeah... I remember that. :P

I think Ibanez or ESP has some sub-$200 bases you can probably grab.

Also.. Are you SURE you want a head? They're pretty ******* loud. XD

That sounds cool, thanks.

I had the assumption that you had to buy a different amp for your bass because regular amps can get blown out, so that's why I was looking at them.

From ESP

From Ibanez

And no, it's not the amp, it's the speakers. Regular guitar speakers can't handle the frequencies of a bass or a bass amp, which is why you should buy an amp meant for bass, such as this

Shanks, friend :3

As far as music production goes, all I've made are a couple ****** soundscapes in GarageBand. www.youtube.com/watch?v=335Fjkr-xys

Dear lawd dat crunchiness :U
Are you using overdrive to get that tone?

You and me need to get together and collaborate on a Fade To Black cover. Or anything Slayer. That is all.

I hate being a lonely metalhead in the middle of Kansas, I really do

First one was one of my 6-strings (can't remember), into an Ibanez TBX150 boosted by a DIgitech OD with the FX loop sent into my computer's soundcard into Reaper.

I know that feel... In Louisiana.

Noice. I own an RP500 footpedal with all kinds of settings on it. It came with a CD-ROM but I never could get the ****** to install, so I'm probably missing out on all kinds of customizing.

Fffffuuuuu you're deeper south than I am. Feels bad man.
User avatar #147 to #146 - akittywithaguitar (10/07/2012) [-]
Wait... **** me... The first one was my Ibanez RG7321, the 2nd one was the 6 string, an ESP EC-50.

And I'm thinking about getting a footpedal setup also... Looking into the Line 6 POD500 because all the cool kids are using them now. XP

Eh, we got cajun food, so I'm fine. :P
