the new testament was written by some guys who heard about some guys who had met some people that said they met jesus. The bible is a BOOK. And what makes it different from the Quran? The book of Mormon? The Ramayana? Why does Jesus get worshipped as the son of God and not Horus? he had 12 disciples and performed miracles too. While the moral compass present in the Bible is admirable, I don't see how anyone can "ascend into heaven" without the aid of an alien spacecraft.

How is saying "it's a book" have anything to do with how legitimate it is? When people wanted to make note of an event by writing it down, what else would they write into?

And well, you assume heaven is a specific place.

Consider the following: If only souls can enter into heaven, maybe it is on another dimensional plane to ours?

there was an unrelated experiment with monkeys that i will show you here. this basically shows that they are smart enough to determine if something bad happens to them, they will solve the problem, such as punishing or taking their anger out on the offender.

so it would be generally accepted among monkeys not to do something otherwise you will be punished... that's where laws or commandments come from. only instead of the punishments coming from people, in the case of the commandments (Although they might), the punishments come from "god".

again the picture just serves to prove that A) monkeys have been around a lot longer than humans, and B) that monkeys are intelligent enough to make general accepted rules.
