Well bassists, other than those who genuinely love it, tend to be people who easily let themselves fall into second place in life. They give up the spot light as it were because they just think thats how it is. The fact that you arent attached to a group means that you arent emotionally involved with something personal to you, so no wonder thats not as fulfilling as it could be

One of the groups I am playing in, I play an upright bass. The music in itself isn't too taxing to play but I do enjoy playing with the group. Gets a little more spotlight than you would expect. I might as well just suck it up! haha Thanks again!

Ohk that is a little more interesting. Dude tell girls about that, they find that stuff facinating so use it as a way to get girls interested in who you are, but make sure that thats not all there is too you. Open with that, ask about them, then talk about other thingsabout you who you are. DO NOT OPEN WITH THE DEPRESSION. Anxiety is fine if you play it down to like small social anxiety - some girls think thats cute (personal experience)

No ur a bassist for multiple groups. That already speaks multitudes about your personality.

Form your own group first. Then find something else to do: study, whatever. If you can't get a gf, go for the casual stuff with someone who's your type but theres no overriding attachement. if you can get a casual, work it out to a date with a line like "Uhm, hey. The other night was a lot of fun and made me realise I kinda missed out on something. Wanna go on a date? If she says no, no foul, if she says yes you have the chance to be charming and work at something

Few would think Neuers action was deliberate, so it wouldn't cause that big of a problem had the referee not called a foul. Punishing Higuain, however, that made the ref look stupid beyond dimensions.
#122 - anon (07/14/2014) [-]
Neuer was playing the ball. Argentinian player ran into Neuer -> Argentinian foul. Why can't people get that once you hit the ball, you are invincible to the rules if someone runs into you. If can't hit the ball and hit a player instead -> you're FOUL
#125 - comradewinter (07/14/2014) [-]
Lol, no.

In most cases it is, but reckless play can still be called for a foul. Higuain didn't run into Neuer, he just went forward. It was Neuer coming in from the side. Now most people wouldn't call it reckless as it was just an unfortunate accident, but you can't foul someone for being in the way.

Assloads of commentators, experts, referees, coaches and players have all protested against the call. Those people know far more about football than you ever will.
