Bernie's ideals: Stabilize the economy and remove the governments favor of the rich vs: the poor.
Trumps ideals: Reinforce national security, use expertise in making successful businesses to expand the American economy, hopefully stabilizing it.
Hillary: GIVE MONEY TO FEED THE HIVE, KILL ALL WHO OPPOSE.

I'd say Trump and Bernie are much alike, in fact, they would probably make good partners if the structure of the government would allow it.

It's definitely seems easier to get summoned to help Way of Blue guys. I went my full first and second playthrough (the first two weeks the game was out) with the Blue Sentinels/Darkmoon Blade covenant equipped without getting summoned a single time. I decided to do another playthrough 2 weeks ago, and I got summoned like 15 times in a week.

It's probably exactly the same farming Silver Knights though (took me like a full day over the course of 3 days. By the time I got 30 I could FEEL myself going insane.) If there's one thing all Japanese game devs love, it's unnecessarily rare drops.

Except that, the freed slaves actually worked to gain respect and standing and earn a living. No. Something else caused them to get...uppity, for lack of a better word. Much more recently than any of that.

It's been a combination of things.
When the slaves were freed, it was a huge thing. Even if they were still considered subhumans by many, and lower than even dogs, they could call themselves free at last. They could at least pretend that they were their own Master.

Then after a few generations, the Blacks realized that their victory wasn't that great. They were still slaves in all but name- and that continued well into the 1900s, with them trying to improve their situations.

Then the civil rights movement happened- Another grand boon for blacks. They became, in law at least, equal citizens. They were free. They were still hated by a large group of people, but they were at least granted equality in the eyes of the Law.

And that, roughly, will bring us to our current generation of Blacks. This is where, in my opinion, the story gets real interesting.
So, you have a people who are free. They have all the same rights as whites, and there are laws in place to try and get the black community at large on equal footing- this is widely contested as being unfair, but it's also one of the best ways to try and get the races equal. Spoiler is a bit of an explanation on that, but not critical to what I'm saying. Read if you feel like it. Now, while the blacks are equal in law and the eyes of the public, for the most part, there's still a very much real and distinct gap between Blacks and Whites. Whites, for the most part, have a culture not too different than it's been. We're still expected to get an education, to control ourselves, and we're not used to having to look at any race as oppressing us. Blacks, on the other hand, do not have this culture, as they've not had anything to base it off for a long while- they weren't equal, they couldn't really get an education, and they had to be wary of Whites. If a white was violent towards them, for a long time, there was a very good chance that the crime wouldn't be looked into. So, a culture of no education, poverty, and fear towards Whites has arisen among the black Ghettos. The culture says not to look outwards, to try and improve into a higher class, but to defend your honor, your gang, your family.
Things like affirmative action work to try and correct this- it's an attempt to get blacks into education, to try and create a new culture. One of education, one of solid middle class wealth, one of bettering oneself.

However, due to the inequalities that are existent between the two races- mainly an income equality- a larger portion of crimes are committed by Blacks, as poverty tends to lend itself very well to crime. So, they tend to be seen as more violent, due to just that.

Now let's get onto the police.
I'm going to start this by saying that I like the police. I admire them for doing the job they do, and I think they're doing a great service for the country. I really do. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences with the police.
From what I've heard, both through interviews and just chatting with friends I've had in the police, there tends to be the idea that every encounter could end with them being dead, and that they're always in danger.
This mentality lends itself to the view that civilians- especially those more likely to be criminals, are almost like enemy combatants.

When you combine that with a culture that thinks they're to be hated, as they're part of a system which oppressed them for generations, every encounter is a very tense one, and any misunderstanding can lead to a shooting.

This tends to then be over-inflated by the media, as it's an easy way to get views, so we see a new outcome come to light: it looks as if there is something of a race war between blacks and whites, especially white police officers. This is what makes them seem, as you put it, uppity.

I'm not saying this excuses their actions. I firmly believe that you are always in control of what you do, and that you always have a choice. I'm just trying to explain the situation.
