If you watched the movie, you'd know that he was interviewed (albeit very shortly), he just wasn't physically there (he spoke through a camera). I remember two questions he was asked:

1) He was asked why only one concert, to which he responded, "I don't like repeating myself."
2) He was also asked if he could prove his being a vampire, perhaps by giving a demonstration of his powers. He responded by suggesting he give a private demonstration in the female reporter's hotel room that night.

As for calling it a "terrible movie", I disagree but respect your right to have an opposing opinion.

Actually, I was referring to the movie Interview with the Vampire. Where the vampire Louis talks about his life with Lestat, who you mostly see in flashback until the end. Queen of the Damned was supposed to be a sequel but was just a cash-in by Warner Bros. after the success of the first film. Hell, even the author of the Vampire Chronicles Anne Rice (Who wrote the books the films were based off of) described the movie as a mutilation of her work.
