Anon did a bit of a rubbish job with a good explanation, so I'll give you the full rundown:

The grey putty has turned grey because it contains a high quantity ferromagnetic particles. Unlike anon said, the putty isn't actually magnetic, but the ferromagnetic particles within attract magnetized metals and objects. The silver cube is a "rare earth magnet" meaning it is created using quite rare metals naturally produced in the earth. The ferromagnetic particles in the putty attract the magnet and pull it slowly towards it, and then the putty molds around the magnet so that as many ferromagnetic particles as possible are connected magnetically to it.

Anon did make a few mistakes. The putty is NOT magnetic, but contains magnetized particles. It's nothing to do with gravity, as well.

Okay, so, the putty is magnetic, and a magnetic field works like a sphere, attracting things towards it, kinda like gravity it pulls things to the center, and because the putty is malleable it drags it into the center of the putty, this is of course, sped up footage, it doesn't happen this quickly.
