Sad to say the game is pretty badly bugged.
You'd have to restart and reroll for that skill, you can quickly terminate your current account by using the Toaster item (usually found in the kitchen) on the Bathtub filled with water.

After that, just interact with the Bathtub and it should allow you to start over.
Though I've heard several people say that if you do this, you might bug out and spawn as an animal, so be careful.

I don't wana lose this character though, i managed to roll +2 strength and +3 intelligence, its got a few down sides though like -1 attraction and -3 charisma but its an overall decent character. I think i may use the exploit of alcohol though, i hear that with over use of it you can gain the social life skill.
