you're right about team fortress, but preference aside charging $60 for what are essentially rehashes of in some cases 10 year old games is pretty despicable, calling them 1080p is also a bit misleading, since an xbone renders in 900p then scales it up

I mean, it is kinda shitty that these are just 4 games that we've already played ignoring the Halo 5 Beta, and the only reason shit like this flies anymore is because besides Nintendo no one is backwards compatible anymore, but at the same time this is what A LOT of people asked for. What was originally Halo 2 Remastered for Xbone suddenly became The Master Chief collection for the same price people rejoiced.
Good Debate, Good debate
And for the record, I don't even have an Xbone. lol. I was pretty upset when MCC didn't come to PC like I hoped/was rumoured

are you really going to argue duplicates/sequels in defense of a pack of four and a half mediocre fps games from the same series?

I'm asking you a question based on your preference at this point because it's where I see this argument heading.
I didn't mean it as a general question, I meant you, how do you not think it's the better value?

I'm not trying to argue that they're the same game in the bundle, they're not. I've played most of those games except for the L4D's.
What I'm saying is some games being a multiplayer only experience in there, while others are single player only. Hell, Team Fortress shouldn't even be in there as far as I'm concerned.

If we're going to argue 3rd party purchases than what's the fucking difference of "buying Master Chief Collection from a friend for only $30?"
Quantity=/=Quality dude. Looking at those games, half of them are Half-Life 2insert subtitle here) and another nice chunk of them are counterstrike.

These are 4, completely remastered, 1080P 60FPS Halo Games with EVERY Multiplayer map including Reach and ODST , and a Beta for the Halo 5 Multiplayer. How is that not the better value?
